A few weeks ago Ry and I decided to do the Cowichan-Renfrew loop with our sumos. We didn’t plan it much as usual, and I headed to the Quarry in Cobble Hill to meet Ry, where we held a safety meeting while drinking a coffee.
Here’s a few pics we took on the way. As most motorcycle riders in Victoria know, the loop is a wicked ride with great corners, long stretches and a stunning scenery.
We started our ride at the Quarry, which isn’t uncommon for us.
From the Quarry we made our way up to Cowichan Lake and stopped for some staples, which isn’t uncommon for most Canadians eh.
We had a few pit stop on the way between Cowichan Lake and Port Renfrew.
And we made it to Renfrew.
We explored the Renfrew area a bit, making a few mistakes along the way, like ending up in “unfriendly” native territory following a wrong turn when looking for gas, then we found this great shoreline where we spend a little while thinking about life and the universe.
We weren’t alone…
And we headed back through Jordan River and Sooke, making a muddy stop at Boyd’s pit just to fool around in some dirt roads and single tracks.
Video to come, although some parts weren’t filmed.
